A Central businessman and cricket administrator has been ordered to pay $831,823.65 to former West Indies spin bowler Dinanath Ramnarine for a “libellous rampage on Facebook” in 2016.

TRIBUTES poured in for former TT track and field athlete Deon Lendore at the Santa Rosa RC Church in Arima, on Thursday.

FALLEN HERO: Trinidad and Tobago bronze medallist Deon Lendore at the medal ceremony for the men’s 400-metre final at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England, on March 3, 2018. Lendore, 29, an Olympian and NCAA champion at Texas A&M in the United States, was killed in a head-on collision in Texas on January 10. His funeral service was held yesterday at Santa Rosa RC Church in Arima.
